We help eliminate shoulder, knee, or back pain, rebuild strength and mobility, and keep you in the gym for years.

Are you not at your best performance?

If you trained as often as you breathe air, let me ask you this:

Have you ever stepped into the gym, ready to push your limits, only to be held back by that sharp knee pain mid-squat?

Or the burning pain in your shoulder during bench press?

Picture this:

You’re in the zone, going for a new personal record, and suddenly…BAM, a sharp twitch stops you.

You start doubting your strength, your routine, even your progress…

The worst part?

That nagging pain doesn’t stop when you leave the gym.

And you wonder... is this my new normal?

But if you want to refuse that,

You’re probably one of these people:

  • You’re a fitness professional ready to push your limits and smash new personal records, and you’re determined to do it without setbacks.

  • You’re a former athlete eager to get back into top shape and leave those old injuries behind..

  • You’re a gym athlete who loves to lift heavy, stay strong, and remain pain-free.

  • You’re someone who wants to train hard, feel strong, and be at your best every single day.

  • You’re missing workouts and competitions, falling behind because your body isn’t cooperating.

STILL NOT SURE?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I schedule physical therapy or lessons?

To get started, visit precizionpt.janeapp.com to schedule a physical therapy evaluation or follow up. If you’d like to speak with me before scheduling, simply fill out the free consultation form at the top of this page or send a text to the number above, including the reason for your visit, and I can give you a call/text.

Why do you not take insurance?

Every decision we make revolves around one mission: helping athletes reach their performance goals. To achieve this, we create customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and adjust them as they progress. Unfortunately, many insurance companies set rates that limit the time we can spend with you, which would force us to compromise our personalized care model. I do offer options to help manage the cost of visits and can provide the necessary documentation for you to submit for potential reimbursement.

If I don’t have a referral, will insurance reimburse me for the out-of-pocket cost of my treatment?

Insurance companies handle direct access differently depending on the specific plan. I recommend calling your insurance provider to get the details. You can usually find claim forms on their website, which you’ll send in along with the receipts and treatment codes I can provide upon request. The reimbursement amount will depend entirely on your plan, so when you call, make sure to ask about reimbursement for 'out-of-network' physical therapy expenses.

How long do visits last?

Your session times may vary a bit depending on your needs. For your initial evaluation, plan to set aside about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete any paperwork, orientation, and the evaluation itself. Follow-up visits typically last around an hour, but more complex cases may require extra time.

How soon can I schedule a physical therapy evaluation?

For new patients with flexible schedules, we can usually schedule a physical therapy evaluation within 24 to 48 hours of your call. If your schedule is tighter, we may need to look a bit further out to find a time that works for you.

I just found out I can’t make my next appointment! What do I do?

Give us a text right away. If you give us more than 24 hours notice, we will take your next appointment off the schedule, move it to another open appointment that same week, or move it to the end of your scheduled visits.Did you try and call, and get routed to our voicemail? Leave a message and your reason for cancelling. As long as we have a time stamp proving that you called more than 24 hours in advance, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.Is your appointment less than 24 hours away? Give us a text right away. If we can reschedule you to another appointment the same week or if we can find another patient to fill your spot, the cancellation fee will be waived.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a detailed receipt for physical therapy services, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your insurance provider's policies

Do I need a physician’s prescription or referral before receiving treatment?

No, you don’t need a physician’s referral to book an appointment with me. California is a direct access state, meaning you can get physical therapy services without a prescription or referral. If you’re seeking reimbursement from your insurance, you’ll still pay upfront, and I’ll provide you with a detailed receipt to submit to your insurance carrier.

How many physical therapy visits will I need?

This really depends upon your goals and condition. If your issue is simple, you could need only a few sessions. If your issue is chronic or complex, it could require 15 sessions or more. During your initial physical therapy evaluation, we will estimate how long it will take to help you reach your stated goals.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Make sure to bring a form of payment (cash, check, or credit/debit card). Wear comfortable clothes like shorts, a T-shirt, or athletic wear that allows easy access to the area we’ll be working on.

I’m running late! What do I do?

Text us right away, and let us know how late you think you’ll be. Depending on how late you’re running, we will do the following:

Less than 15 mins: We will alert your physical therapist that you’re running behind schedule, and we will ask them if there are any specific instructions we should give you to expedite the start of your visit upon arrival.

More than 15 mins: At this point, your physical therapist will be unable to see you, and this appointment is considered a “No-Show.” You will be charged the full price of the visit unless we can reschedule your appointment to the same week.

How far in advance should I schedule my follow-up appointments?

We recommend you schedule all the appointments that your physical therapist recommends. If you are coming to the end of your first set of scheduled appointments, we recommend booking additional appointments 1 -2 weeks in advance. Although we will do everything possible to ensure you have a consistent physical therapy schedule, we cannot guarantee there will be space for your appointments if you do not schedule them ahead of time.
