To get started, visit precizionpt.janeapp.com to schedule a physical therapy evaluation or follow up. If you’d like to speak with me before scheduling, simply fill out the free consultation form at the top of this page or send a text to the number above, including the reason for your visit, and I can give you a call/text.
Every decision we make revolves around one mission: helping athletes reach their performance goals. To achieve this, we create customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and adjust them as they progress. Unfortunately, many insurance companies set rates that limit the time we can spend with you, which would force us to compromise our personalized care model. I do offer options to help manage the cost of visits and can provide the necessary documentation for you to submit for potential reimbursement.
Insurance companies handle direct access differently depending on the specific plan. I recommend calling your insurance provider to get the details. You can usually find claim forms on their website, which you’ll send in along with the receipts and treatment codes I can provide upon request. The reimbursement amount will depend entirely on your plan, so when you call, make sure to ask about reimbursement for 'out-of-network' physical therapy expenses.
Your session times may vary a bit depending on your needs. For your initial evaluation, plan to set aside about 1 to 1.5 hours to complete any paperwork, orientation, and the evaluation itself. Follow-up visits typically last around an hour, but more complex cases may require extra time.
For new patients with flexible schedules, we can usually schedule a physical therapy evaluation within 24 to 48 hours of your call. If your schedule is tighter, we may need to look a bit further out to find a time that works for you.
Give us a text right away. If you give us more than 24 hours notice, we will take your next appointment off the schedule, move it to another open appointment that same week, or move it to the end of your scheduled visits.Did you try and call, and get routed to our voicemail? Leave a message and your reason for cancelling. As long as we have a time stamp proving that you called more than 24 hours in advance, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.Is your appointment less than 24 hours away? Give us a text right away. If we can reschedule you to another appointment the same week or if we can find another patient to fill your spot, the cancellation fee will be waived.
No, I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a detailed receipt for physical therapy services, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your insurance provider's policies
No, you don’t need a physician’s referral to book an appointment with me. California is a direct access state, meaning you can get physical therapy services without a prescription or referral. If you’re seeking reimbursement from your insurance, you’ll still pay upfront, and I’ll provide you with a detailed receipt to submit to your insurance carrier.
This really depends upon your goals and condition. If your issue is simple, you could need only a few sessions. If your issue is chronic or complex, it could require 15 sessions or more. During your initial physical therapy evaluation, we will estimate how long it will take to help you reach your stated goals.
Make sure to bring a form of payment (cash, check, or credit/debit card). Wear comfortable clothes like shorts, a T-shirt, or athletic wear that allows easy access to the area we’ll be working on.
Text us right away, and let us know how late you think you’ll be. Depending on how late you’re running, we will do the following:
Less than 15 mins: We will alert your physical therapist that you’re running behind schedule, and we will ask them if there are any specific instructions we should give you to expedite the start of your visit upon arrival.
More than 15 mins: At this point, your physical therapist will be unable to see you, and this appointment is considered a “No-Show.” You will be charged the full price of the visit unless we can reschedule your appointment to the same week.
We recommend you schedule all the appointments that your physical therapist recommends. If you are coming to the end of your first set of scheduled appointments, we recommend booking additional appointments 1 -2 weeks in advance. Although we will do everything possible to ensure you have a consistent physical therapy schedule, we cannot guarantee there will be space for your appointments if you do not schedule them ahead of time.
